The FLY-UK charity
After our success in 2005, 2006 and 2007 in support of the Children with Leukaemia charity, we are again taking up the challenge to collect another substantial sum to help the youngsters. Donating is easy - simply click on the link below and a payment may be made directly to the charity. Alternatively, donations by cheque may be handed to Mike or Tom on the trip.
Here is what the Charity says…
Leukaemia is cancer of the blood. It’s not hereditary. You can’t catch it. Yet it kills more of our children than any other disease.
Forty years ago, leukaemia was a virtual death sentence. Nowadays, two out of three leukaemic children survive. Please help take this vital work forward by donating today.
The internet link below will take you straight to a special FLY-UK section of the Children with Leukaemia charity's own website, where anyone can sponsor the FLY-UK event by making a donation (please have your plastic ready) which goes directly to the charity. All donations will be logged to FLY-UK and totted up separately on the website for all to see how much has been raised so far. Individual payments are not publicly identified.
Anyone can donate direct to Children with Leukaemia for FLY-UK 2008, by clicking on this link:
PRESS TO DONATE
then click on "Donate Now".
Finally - after completing the form -
1 Please tick the box for Gift Aid. It adds 28p to every £1 donated from a UK taxpayer, and
2 Please tick the box if you wish your donation to be anonymous.
Airfields and pilots are giving generously to support our challenge.
Thanks for reading this. I hope you will sponsor the FLY-UK challenge by making a donation.
